Day #228 – Encounters

Day #228 – Encounters

Today there were many honks, salutes, and several people that stopped to learn more about what Freedom Walker is doing.

We both stopped to use the restroom at a Farmer Boys Restaurant – and found that it was not open yet. The doors were open, so we went inside and met Louis & Chris (working there). After learning about this walk and our cause, they told us where there is another Farmer Boys Restaurant where we could go eat – and they would pay for our meal! We went there after the walk was completed for today.

As we departed from Farmer Boys (the first one we stopped at), we met Jimmy Crickon, who prayed for us, gave us cold drinking water, and thanked Freedom Walker for doing God’s work. He showed us a large cross that he built and erected outside his house.

Freedom Walker also told me that two young patriots stopped and appreciated everything we are doing.

A young woman named Kim, who is a walker, stopped and appreciated the walk. She was very excited and said she would share our message and information about the walk with others!

Another woman stopped (in traffic) and called across the barrier to Freedom Walker. He hurried over and gave her a card so she could learn more about our cause.
