Since we had a blowout on the motor home – and the tread ripped the brake line out, we had to have the motor home towed in. Since the part would not be in until Monday, we ended up spending the night in Yucca Valley.

We went to eat and were blessed to meet some Christians who are very interested in this walk.

Steve had read about us in the newspaper and agrees with our cause.

Our server brought us our ‘ticket’ – and told us it was already paid for!

We met Pastor Terry and his wife, Gail, and ended up spending the rest of the afternoon together, talking about the walk, the Uganda work, and sharing blessings.

While visiting with Terry and Gail, we met another family who was very interested in the pace car graphics. They offered to get us a hotel for the night, which was very kind. It was not necessary because we could still sleep in the motor home.
