Cross-Country Flagman met a group of people from Kansas, whose car had broken down. They took cards to look up more information about this walk.

Curly is a veteran one year younger than Pastor Chick. He was glad to hear about the walk.

Leeah Edwards drove up and asked if she could take pictures to put on her blog!

During lunch, we met the Williams family. They saw the shirt with “WalkingCoast2Coast.com on it and asked what that meant. After learning about this walk, they wished us safety, saying “God bless you!”

While I did some shopping at Walmart, Cross-Country Flagman sat down to rest and met Blake, who is about the same age, who also took some interest in the walk.

Today, as the wind velocity increased later in the day, Freedom Walker inspected the flag and found that it needed some repair.

After his walking was completed, we drove to Navajo Spirit Fashion House who also does alterations.

We met the owner Carl, seamstress Elizabeth, and receptionist Cami, all who were interested in and appreciated our walk.

They did a great job repairing the flag, and also did some other alteration work for a discounted price.

Before leaving, Tyrone asked for our card, learned about the walk, and told us about Thoreau. He and Lyle agreed with what Pastor Chick said and wished us a safe and successful trip.

First we met Ronald Martinez, who was walking along the road the opposite direction. Then we met George along Rt. 66, who stopped to take a picture. Johnny and Diane James met us at the finish line. They were excited to hear about the walk.

When we stopped to eat, Burly and Frank took an interest.

We met Donald as we were driving back to the motor home. He told us he had 15 more miles to walk today.

It was a blessing to have more people express an interest today!
