As we arrived at our stopping place, we were met by Christen Coulon, editor for Independent Appeal. He took pictures and interviewed Pastor Chick.

Mayor Jessie Robbins was unable to meet with us today, so a 40 day prayer guide for our nation was left as a memento of this walk at the Eastview Civic Center in care of Emodene Smith, City Recorder.

Subway in Corinth provided lunch for us. Thank you to Subway for supporting us as we promote our cause.

While at Subway we met Billie, whom I used to work with at Shoney’s. He was very interested in what we are doing. Jimmie Jones, and his son, who work in the “Affordable Trees” business were also present and support our walk as well.

At Walmart we met Amber Goodman, who said she has been following our walk, as it is ‘all over Facebook’!

Sister Daphna Matthews joined us for the day. She participated by driving the pace car and Barbara walked through the town of Corinth with Pastor Chick.

Elizabeth Kennedy met us at Lloyd’s Cafe. Patty, at Lloyd’s Cafe, learned about the walk and gave the three of us breakfast. Thank you to the staff at Lloyd’s Cafe!

While we outside Lloyd’s Cafe, Pastor Chick’s niece, Katie, arrived. She walked with us for a distance and then Daphna drove her back to her car.

We enjoyed getting the opportunity to talk with Katie!
