After eating, we visited the City Hall in Stevenson. Sergeant Hollis arranged a meeting for us to present the 40 day prayer guide to the City Clerk, Sandy Evans, as the mayor is out of town.

Special thanks to Sergeant Hollis for all his efforts to help us raise awareness of our cause in Stevenson, Alabama.

We stopped at a store to leave some keys we found and met Krystal Robinson and Kathy Judge who were both thrilled about this walk.

When we stopped at Walmart to do some shopping we saw Stephanie, Isaac, and Iona Luttrell, whom we know from our safe-station. They stopped to greet us and see how the walk is going.

Jonah Drake – and his mother Lisa (not pictured) – stopped to get pictures and meet this man they had already heard about that would be walking through town today carrying the American flag and saluting all passersby. They were blessed by what we are doing and said Jonah would share it with his Christian School, Cornerstone Christian Academy.

Walking through Scottsboro we met Judy Hess and Emmett O’Neal who thanked us for what we are doing.

Bob House said “Amen! I am with you!”

A red truck pulled up after ABC Channel 31 interviewed Pastor Chick and asked “what happened? Did someone die?” After they learned what it was about they said “This is great! We love the Lord!” Tiffany Williams, Rebecca Miller, and Ralph and Brenda Polson were glad they stopped and inquired.

Early in the day, Sergeant Hester Hollis stopped to see if I was okay since I was walking. He also encouraged Pastor Chick and told him about the post he made on his Facebook page.

From a distance, I saw a red car pull up beside Pastor Chick. They talked for a few minutes, though I know little about it.

Wes Mayberry, with the Daily Sentinel, interviewed and photographed Pastor Chic.

Below is also a picture of some fluffy clouds we saw.

Matthew Badgett caught Pastor Chick on camera, then caught up to him to encourage him. He said that he loves what we are doing and is so glad that we came through their small town of Stevenson, AL.

John Brown saw the car and took interest in the Liberty Petition. He said we need to get this country back to what it was with the freedoms we used to have, that he is a Christian, loves God and this country.

Emmanual Gomez encouraged us to pray to God, that He will get us to the end destination of the walk.

Isaac, Aaron, and Deanna Kinslow, who live in Oklahoma, learned about Pastor Chick on Facebook and were very excited to actually meet him and get pictures with him. They agree with what he is promoting.

Retired State Trooper Thomas Davis told Pastor Chick that he had walked by his house and he just had to take him something to drink. He says that if you don’t believe in God you will fall for anything. He wishes us the best, including safety from the actions of crazy people.
